I found my way to blog world

I'm thinking I may create a different user name but I'm here and am going to explore. I'm kind of rusty as a writer but feel the need to find a way to connect and share.
Mike and I had a great weekend together. We went to the bead show in Oakland, saw friends, had lunch, and explored The Crucible and saw smithing, glass blowing, enameling, welding, and all kinds of cool stuff demonstrated. Mike hammered, dapped, and stamped and it was really fun.
Today, we both cleaned up and laid in supplies for the week. I committed to doing the wine/cheese/art fair in Beringer and it's my first foray into selling and I've been feeling very overwhelmed and somewhat add about it. Today, I made a list of things I can make to sell. I organized the tools so Mike can help me if he wishes. I went through my copper, my brass, my silver, my fused glass, my shells, and my rocks and picked out things that I'm motivated to work with. I'm going to k.i.s. - keep it simple. Beringer isn't charging a booth fee or a commission. I just have to pull the sales part together.
In a perfect world, I would be able to figure out not only how to make and manufacture this stuff, price it properly...I would be able to photograph it, have a website, and on and on...anyway, I'll attach a picture - good or not...lol ...well, here goes my first blog entry
